Our Practice

At Middle Georgia Orthopaedics, our distinguished team of experienced, board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, physiatrists, and physician's assistants is dedicated to helping you keep your body's musculoskeletal system in the best possible working condition; returning you to the freedom of an active, pain-free lifestyle at any age.

Our practice is comprised of seven prominent physicians: K. Scott Malone, M.D., William B. Wiley, M.D., Jeffrey C. Easom, D.O., Daxes M. Banit, M.D., Derrick D. Phillips, M.D., and David H. Wiley, M.D..

These physicians evaluate and treat all disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including fractures, ligament injuries, herniated discs, tendonitis and arthritis, with the goal of providing experienced, up-to-the-minute orthopaedic treatment within a caring, personal environment.

Although each physician is able to provide care in general orthopaedics, each is also highly trained in a specialized area, and brings his field of expertise to the practice. This allows patients to receive specialized treatment in the areas of sports medicine, spinal disorders, arthritis, total joint replacement and foot and ankle problems at the highest levels of professionalism and care.

Known for many years as Houston Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine, we have changed our name to better represent the scope of our practice and the three offices we maintain in the Middle Georgia area.

Our main office is located in the Peachtree Crossing Professional Building at 3051 Watson Blvd. Suite 400 behind the Kinetics and off Osigian Blvd behind StoreSmart Storage. Our office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Patients are seen by appointment except in the case of emergency.

We also operate a satellite office at 1013 Main St. in Perry.
